Organising things is fun. Band decided we want a book with all the pieces for the concert, cos it makes turning pages easier. So I hunt down good copies, get copyright permission for the pieces (which was a bitch, I hate publishing houses), make the layout, get ready to print it, and by that time they have thrown out half of the songs and decided on others. So I hunt down the copies, get permission, design the layout, and then they decide they want a different version of this one and that one exchanged for another and I start over again. Then I finally have it ready and start on the layout, when I'm told the order of the songs needs to be rearranged. (By this time it is three weeks later already and I start bashing my head against the nearest wall simply when I see one of them.) Now it's all done, everything's the right order, I print it and do a little happy dance because it is FINALLY over, and now the consensus is that we really need one more piece. Of course not at the end, cos then I could just print it and add it to the whole thing, no, of course right at the beginning. Which means another couple hours of work. *headwall*
I'm going to Denmark in about twelve hours and haven't even started packing. And, believe it or not, I'm the only one of this perfectly organised bunch of people who isn't afraid of computers and doesn't have exams at the moment.
But call me crazy, I somehow really like the stressing. It's so much better than the boredom that was before. Most of the time.
